5 back blows Face them down along your thigh, head lower than their bottom. Hit firmly between the shoulder blades.

5 chest thrusts Turn them face up. Using 2 thumbs, push sharply down in the middle of their chest.

If they become unresponsive
Start CPR straight away.
Get them checked afterwards
Children and infants should always go to hospital to be checked over. For an adult or adolescent, if abdominal thrusts were used, they should seek medical attention too.
